The people from Victoriaville had a good reason to honnor and to be extremely proud of their native son, for the 55-56 season saw the young man achieve superstar status in the hockey world. Beliveau won the NHL scoring championship, was named the league's MVP and led the Montreal Canadiens to the first of five consecutive Stanley Cup titles. The photo album includes 23 different 5x7 black and white photos of the day's event starting with a parade finishing with the presentation of the amazing 27 inches trophy that was made by the workshops of Vicotriaville's Art and Crafts School. The binder is nicely autographed by M. Beliveau himself and reads: to Jean thanks for everything, Jean Beliveau.
